Living and working environments of bygone days

Fourteen farms from different valleys of Tyrol were faithfully transferred to the museum of tyrolean farms in Kramsach. These buildings can be discovered as an impressive witness to a vanished folk culture with its charming details.

The numerous outbuildings such as saw, mill, forge, threshing, and the two village chapels were carefully removed from the original stand like all the other buildings and faithfully replicated here in the museum of tyrolean farms in Kramsach. They are remarkable relicts from ancient eras.

Every year in September, the church day event takes place in the museum area with a field mass, various musical performances, traditional crafts and customs, as well as tyrolean delicacies.

The
museum of tyrolean farms in Kramsach is accessible by car within about 30 min. from the Alpine Caravan Park Achensee.
